How a stake is settled at VegasNow

Plain rules for the awkward moments: a round that dropped out, a result you dispute, a game that misbehaved, and the stake ceiling that applies while bonus money is in play.

A round is settled on the server, not on your screen

The outcome of every spin, hand and wheel is produced and recorded by the game server the instant you commit the stake. What happens next on your display is presentation. Reels spinning, cards turning over, a wheel slowing down: all of it is an animation of a result that already exists.

That is why closing a tab halfway through a feature changes nothing, and why a win cannot be lost by a browser crash. It also means a win you saw flash up but cannot find afterwards is settled by one thing only, which is the round log. Outcomes come from a random number generator certified by iTech Labs, and neither your stake size nor your history alters the odds of the next result.

Your transaction and round history is the authoritative record of what you staked and what came back. Where memory and the record disagree, the record wins, and we will read it out to you round by round.

Settlement

Void rounds, dropouts and disputed results

  1. Your connection died mid round

Log back in. A pokies round that reached the server has already finished and the result, good or bad, is in your history with the balance adjusted. Live dealer hands follow the procedure posted at that table, which generally means the hand plays out under the studio's own rules whether you are watching or not.

  2. The round never completed at all

If the server holds no recorded outcome, the round is void and the stake goes back to your balance. Nothing is paid as a win on a round that did not finish, and no replacement round is granted.

  3. You disagree with a result

Open a chat with the game title and roughly when it ran. We request the round log from the studio that built the game, read it against your history and tell you what it says, including the cases where it goes against us.

  4. The same stake came off twice

A network retry can occasionally deduct a stake twice for one round. Report it with the amount and the time; the duplicate deduction is reversed once the log confirms a single round was played.

When a game malfunctions

Malfunction voids all pays and plays. That sentence sits in the help file of practically every title in our lobby and it is not decoration. If a game delivers a result its own maths cannot support, that result does not stand, however it looked on screen.

In practice: a fault that inflated a balance is corrected back to the figure the balance should have held, with the arithmetic explained to you. A fault that took a stake and returned nothing gives the stake back. A studio pulling a game for repair returns open stakes and the title leaves the lobby until it is fixed. None of that is a judgement on the player.

Display errors sit under the same heading. A balance or bonus figure shown in error is not an entitlement, and playing against an obvious error rather than reporting it counts as prohibited play.

Bonus play

The A$8 ceiling while a bonus is live

Minimum depositA$20

Those figures decide most bonus outcomes. Weighting also differs by game type, so a dollar staked on pokies and a dollar staked at a table rarely contribute equally. Check the conditions attached to each offer on our bonuses before planning how to clear one.

Play we do not allow

Breach any of these and the bonus goes, the proceeds of the breach are void, and the account may be restricted or closed.

  • More than one account per person, household, address, device or payment method. Duplicates are closed and their bonus proceeds forfeited.
  • Registering with somebody else's identity documents, or funding an account with a card or wallet that is not in your name.
  • Bonus abuse patterns: near risk free betting on opposing outcomes purely to run down wagering, coordinated play between accounts, or stake sequences built only to game an offer rather than to play the game.
  • Automated play of any kind, including bots, scripts, macros and software that reads the game feed.
  • Playing against a known pricing, payout or display error instead of telling us about it.
  • Chargeback threats used as a negotiating tool. Raise a dispute with us first; a chargeback on a settled deposit closes the account.

Rules questions, answered

Does a single oversized stake really cost me the bonus?

It can. The rule is written as a ceiling, not an average, so one stake above A$8 while a bonus is attached is enough to put the bonus and its winnings at risk. If it happened by accident, tell us before you cash out rather than after.

Do all games count the same towards wagering?

No. Contribution is weighted by game type and the weighting is published in the terms of each offer. Pokies normally count in full while table and live dealer games count for a fraction or not at all.

What if a live dealer makes an error at the table?

Live studios run documented procedures for misdeals, exposed cards and equipment faults, and the table result is corrected accordingly. We pass you the studio's finding in full.

Can you void winnings after they have been credited?

Only where a round was faulty or a rule in this list was broken, and only with the log to show it. A correctly settled win on compliant play stays yours, subject to the A$5,000 cap on bonus funds. Account level rules sit on terms and conditions.
