What we hold about you, and why
A casino licensed in Curaçao cannot run on anonymity. Here is the full list of what we collect, the reason each item exists, and who outside this company ever sees it.
The short version, before the detail
We collect what is needed to open your account, confirm you are over 18 and really you, move money in and out, keep the lobby secure, meet the conditions of our licence and answer you when you write in. We do not sell personal information to anybody, and we do not pass it to third parties to market their own products at you.
The controller of this data is Just Entertainment B.V., Scharlooweg 39, Willemstad, Curaçao, which operates VegasNow Casino under Curaçao Gaming Control Board reference OGL/2024/164/0246. Any request about your own information can be sent through our support desk from the email address on the account.
Everything we collect, item by item
| Category | What that means in practice | Why it is held |
|---|---|---|
| Identity | Full name, date of birth, residential address, nationality | Age verification, licence obligations and the checks that run before a withdrawal is released |
| Contact | Email address and mobile number | Account notices, password resets and promotional messages where you asked for them |
| Account activity | Logins, deposits, withdrawals, stakes, round history, bonus and wagering progress | Running the account, settling disputes and detecting duplicate registrations |
| Payment | The method used, a masked card or wallet reference, transaction identifiers | Paying withdrawals back to the method that funded the account |
| Verification files | Photo identification, proof of address, proof that a payment method belongs to you | Meeting the identity checks our licence requires before funds are released |
| Technical | IP address, device type, browser, operating system, approximate location | Security, fraud prevention, and serving a lobby that works on your screen |
| Support records | Chat transcripts, email threads, notes from your tickets | Picking a conversation up where it stopped, and reviewing a decision if you query it |
The grounds we rely on
Four grounds cover everything above. Performing our contract with you accounts for the account itself, the stakes, the payouts and the support. Legal obligation accounts for identity checks, anti money laundering records and whatever our regulator requires us to keep. Our own legitimate interest in a casino that is not being defrauded accounts for the technical and security data. Consent accounts for marketing email and any non essential cookie, and consent is withdrawable at any point without affecting the rest.
Automated checks do run on registrations and transactions, because that is how duplicate accounts and stolen cards are spotted at scale. Where an automated flag would close an account or hold a payout, a person reviews it before anything final happens, and you can ask us to explain the decision.
Who sees it outside this company
Payment providers
Card processors, bank transfer rails, e-wallets, prepaid services and crypto networks each receive the minimum needed to move your money and confirm it arrived. They handle their own compliance and we never hold a full card number ourselves.
Verification services
Specialist identity and document checking providers confirm that your identification is genuine and matches you. They receive the document and the result comes back to us.
Game studios
The studios behind the titles in our lobby receive a player identifier and round data so games run and results can be audited. They do not get your name, address or payment details.
Regulator and auditors
The Curaçao Gaming Control Board, testing houses such as iTech Labs and our auditors can require access where a licence condition, an audit or a lawful request makes it necessary.
Retention and security
Account and transaction records are kept while the account is open and then for the period our licence and anti money laundering duties require after closure, which is measured in years rather than months. Verification documents are kept for that same statutory window and no longer. Support transcripts are held for a shorter period, long enough to review a decision. Marketing consent records are kept so we can prove the preference you set.
On the technical side, traffic to and from this site runs over 256-bit SSL, stored credentials are hashed rather than saved as text, and access to verification files inside the company is limited to the staff whose job needs them and logged when used. None of that makes you invulnerable: use a password you have not reused elsewhere, keep your email account secure, and tell us immediately if a login looks unfamiliar.
Rights you can exercise today
Send any of these through support from the account email address and we will confirm receipt.
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you, in a form you can read.
- Have anything inaccurate corrected, which is worth doing before a withdrawal rather than during one.
- Ask for deletion, which we action for everything we are not legally obliged to retain.
- Withdraw marketing consent, with no effect on the account itself.
- Object to a particular use of your data, or ask that an automated decision be looked at by a person.
- Ask for your data in a portable format to take elsewhere.
- Complain to us first and then to the Curaçao Gaming Control Board under reference OGL/2024/164/0246 if our answer does not satisfy you.
Privacy questions
Why do you need identity documents at all?
Our licence requires us to know who holds an account before money leaves it. Completing the check early means a withdrawal is not held up later, since funds are only released once verification is finished.
Do you sell data or pass it to advertisers?
No. Information goes to the providers listed above because a payment, a verification or a game needs it, never to third parties to sell you something.
Can I have my account deleted entirely?
We delete what we can and retain what the licence requires us to retain, mainly transaction and verification records. We will tell you exactly which categories remain and when they fall away.
What happens to my data if I self-exclude?
Enough is kept to honour the exclusion, which means we must be able to recognise you if a new registration is attempted. Marketing data is removed.
